Pursuant to Regulation 6.3 or 6.4, a permit is needed to practise law on a temporary basis in Nova Scotia. You must apply for a temporary practice permit if you:

move to Nova Scotia from another Canadian jurisdiction and want to practise in this province before you are called to the Bar here. To apply for this permit, please refer to
